Online collision avoidance for mobile robots
Capabilities to recognize obstacles and avoid collision are essential requirements for mobile robots to safely accomplish tasks in complex environments. We perform research on tracking of dynamic obstacles, generation of safe trajectories for autonomous vehicles using model predictive control, and improvement of computational efficiencies for real-time collision avoidance.
